CPAs for the Public Interest's mission is to strengthen nonprofit organizations through improved financial management; and since 1976, we have brought the necessary expertise to over 4,000 Illinois nonprofits through volunteer consultations, workshops and publications. Services are provided by volunteer professionals with financial, tax, technical, accounting and management expertise. CPAs for the Public Interest (CPAsPI) is an Illinois nonprofit corporation exempt from taxes under Section 501 (c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, and is funded through generous support from accounting firms, corporations and foundations. CPAsPI is a community service program of the Illinois CPA Society and association of CPAs, accountants and other business professionals. CPAs for the Public Interest |
